Sam has over 20 years of financial services experience across Sydney and London, with deep expertise in asset management, wealth management, and alternative investments.

Starting her career as a corporate lawyer, she developed deep expertise in issues management, corporate reputation, and project leadership, before moving into strategic communications.

At Honner, she has partnered with leading Australian and global firms, including Lazard Asset Management, MA Financial, Metrics Credit Partners, Bell Financial Group, Insignia Financial, and MLC, to deliver strategic communications across institutional, intermediary and retail audiences.

Her work spans traditional and alternative asset classes, private markets, superannuation, and industry body engagement, including the Actuaries Institute. This breadth positions her as a trusted adviser to organisations navigating complex regulatory and market environments.

A former corporate lawyer, Sam brings sharp instincts for issues and crisis management, corporate reputation, and stakeholder engagement. Her strategic judgement and business acumen have guided clients through high-stakes, sensitive situations with clarity and control.

She has led communications strategies across institutional and retail wealth management, building deep stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities to drive engagement.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business / Marketing & Accounting (Honours) from QUT, and a Diploma in PR (Distinction) from the London School of Public Relations.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys exploring food markets, cooking, and long walks with her family and their dog.
